General Booking Terms & Conditions

Use of the Tripedia.com website is subject to your acceptance of our terms and conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must refrain from using the website.

Using our service is free of charge and we act as intermediary between you and the service supplier.

By accessing, browsing and using our website or any of our applications through whatever platform and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.

These pages, the content of these pages, and the online activities reservation service provided on these pages are owned, operated and provided by Tripedia Inc. and are subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

The information provided on Tripedia booking platform and/or registration platform must be truthful, accurate and updated. The supplier reserves the right to cancel bookings without refund when incorrect information has been provided.

Tripedia.com offers different types of services which might have additional terms specific to the service. These terms are specified in the product details page and voucher.
Tripedia.com Service

Through the website we provide an online platform through which all types of activities & tours (e.g. transfers, tours, day trips, tickets, excursions etc...) suppliers can advertise their services for reservation, and through which visitors to the website can make such reservations.

By making a reservation through Tripedia.com, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with the service provider at which you book. From the point at which you make your reservation, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the service provider, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant service provider and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the service provider.

When rendering our services, the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by service providers.

As such, the service providers are given access to an extranet through which they are fully responsible for updating all rates, availability and other information which is displayed on our website.

Although we will use reasonable skill and care in performing our services we will not verify if, and cannot guarantee that, all information is accurate, complete or correct, nor can we be held responsible for any errors, any interruptions, inaccurate, misleading or untrue information or non-delivery of information.

Each service provider remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the information displayed on our website. Our website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, qualification or rating of any service made available.

You are not allowed to re-sell, deep-link, use, copy, monitor (e.g. spider, scrape), display, download or reproduce any content or information, software, products or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.

If you book a reservation for a travel experience through Tripedia sites and platforms, you agree to review and be bound by the supplier's terms and conditions and any other rules or policies related to the supplier's travel experience.
Conditions of participation
You are personally responsible for compliance with any conditions of participation such as age, weight, health conditions, etc. The provider reserves the right to exclude participants, who do not meet these conditions, from the activity. In this case, the price paid cannot be refunded.
Transfers
Tripedia.com will not be responsible for any missed transfers if the information on the transfer voucher has not been followed and the local agent has not been contacted to re-confirm the transfer.
Private Tour Guides
Private tour guides are independent contractors and not agents or affiliates of Tripedia. We do not screen or conduct background checks on private tour guides. Your use of private tour guides is at your sole risk. Customers are responsible for working directly with private tour guides on scheduling, meeting time/place, tour specifics etc...
Program Changes
The supplier further reserves the right to make minor program changes, if deemed necessary due to unforeseeable or unpreventable circumstances due to; including but not limited to; weather, construction, renovation at the attraction site etc...
Arrival at Venue and Supplier Rules
It is your responsibility for timely arrival at the meeting point. If you are arriving to the booked activity from abroad, you are responsible for the necessary travel documents (passport, etc.), compliance with health regulations, etc.
Vouchers
Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a Voucher for each tour, event etc. Please provide this Tripedia Voucher to the service provider to redeem your service, tour, ticket etc. For security purposes you must also present a valid Photo ID.
Names of persons traveling
It is important that you must enter the correct names of all persons traveling. If TBA or another abbreviation has been entered as the guest's name, the service provider may reject the booking. The names of all persons traveling must be entered and the first name should be followed by the Family name.
E-mail and User Accounts

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have entered the correct e-mail address.

You can check all e-mail correspondence from the website by logging into your Agency Account and clicking "My Messages & Notifications".

Tripedia.com will not accept any responsibility for any messages that have not been read by the client.

If our e-mail has been sent to your Junk or Bulk mail folder, you can prevent this from happening again by opening our e-mail and clicking on the 'Not spam' or 'this is not spam' button.

It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your account password and login credentials. All activities that occur in connection with your account is under your responsibility.

We may terminate or suspend your account or ability to use the Website, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion, for any reason such as misuse of the site or no reason, and without notice or liability of any kind.
Rates and Payment

All prices on the Tripedia.com website are per person for use of the service and are displayed including VAT and all other taxes (subject to change of such taxes), unless stated differently on our website or the confirmation e-mail.

Please check the service and rate details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation.

Obvious errors and mistakes (including misprints) are not binding.

All special offers and promotions are marked as such.

The charge is made by Tripedia.com by your selected choice of payment type. The majority of credit card providers charge some sort of an International Transaction fee. This fee is passed on by certain credit card providers because the charge for your booking has been processed outside of the country that you reside in. Please note that the charge has not been passed on by Tripedia.com and that we cannot be held responsible for any international transaction charges passed on by your credit card issuer.

For extras purchased during the service, the supplier may determine a local currency.

If the booking is non refundable then you will be charged the whole amount in FULL at the time of booking.

Once you have accepted the cancellation policy for your booking as well as our terms and conditions, your credit card will be charged for the total cost.

In order to safeguard and encrypt your credit card information when in transit to us, we use the "Secure Socket Layer (SSL)" technology for our services.

In order to indemnify you, in case of unauthorized use of your credit, please make sure that you report this fraud to your credit card provider (in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures) and contact us immediately by email (support@tripedia.com). Please state 'credit card fraud' in the subject line of your email and provide us with evidence of the charged deductible (e.g. policy of the credit card company).

This indemnification only applies to credit card reservations made using Tripedia.com's secure server and the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through our default or negligence and through no fault of your own while using the secure server.

Rate displays on our website can be viewed and charged in different currencies.

Tripedia.com cannot be held responsible for currency exchange rates or bank surcharges whatever the circumstances.

Rates displayed on the Tripedia.com website are subject to currency fluctuations. There may be slight variations in the published rates on a daily basis that will reflect any movement in the currency exchange rates.

Once a booking has been booked and confirmed at the rates you have accepted, there is no refund for the price difference because rates can be updated daily.
Proof of ID

To protect the credit card holder and when a booking has been made by a 3rd party, Tripedia.com reserves the right to request proof of ID from the card holder as well as a signed authorization form.

This security measure is not to cause any inconvenience but merely to protect the credit card holder against any credit card misuse.
Promotion Codes

Promotion Codes are only valid for specific bookings on Tripedia.com.

Discount codes cannot be combined with any other promotions and offers.

Tripedia.com reserves the right to change this implementation and rates offered for discount codes at any time.
Special Requests

While we undertake to ensure that your special request and preference is available, These requests are sent to the service provider and are subject to availability so Tripedia.com cannot guarantee that such request will be met.
Service Information and Details

While Tripedia.com strives to present service information as accurately as possible, we are not responsible for the accuracy of this information or for any details/inclusives that may or may not be available during your use of service or not suited to individual tastes and preferences.

The effects of weather can be expected during the service hours and these are beyond our control. Tripedia.com cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance or inconvenience to the client beyond its control nor for accidents or loss during the service use caused by service supplier management or staff.
Additional charges made by the service provider

The amount for your booking DOES NOT include any applicable charges for optional incidentals (such any extras).

Tripedia.com has no control over any extra charges that a service provider may decide to implement for extras...

Any such charges must be paid direct to the service provider and Tripedia.com cannot be held responsible for any incidental charges passed on by the service provider.
Services age limit

All of the services on the Tripedia.com website require one of the guests to be at least 18 years old. In some states of America or for certain services there are higher age limits.

Some services are for use of adults only.
Changes in Published Rates

Tripedia.com reserves the right to correct any pricing or displayed errors and/or omissions. This includes errors and/or omissions from a supplier.

In the event of a price error and/or omission, we will offer you the choice of either keeping the booking at the correct rates, canceling the booking or subject to availability we will offer you a suitable alternate service.
Fair Events and Special Dates of Travel

Over certain periods such as sporting, festival and fairs, service providers may impose strict restrictions regarding cancellation and conditions of service.

It is possible that these changes may be advised to us after the booking has been confirmed.
Cancellations and Amendments
Cancellations and amendments will not be accepted over the telephone and must be made in writing through the Tripedia.com website under 'My Bookings’ page. You should make sure you are familiar with the cancellation policy for the service by checking the information on your voucher. The cancellation and no-show policy of each service provider is made available also on our website on the product details page and during the reservation procedure.

Amendments are subject to availability and if you want to change the dates of service, then the rates can be subject to an increase or decrease. In some cases you will need to cancel your existing booking and make a new booking.

Please note that certain rates or special offers are not eligible for cancellation or change. Please check the service details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation.

It is not possible to change or modify a special event, theater or show ticket. Sales of these tickets are final and cannot be amended once your original purchase is confirmed.

Event, Attraction, Theater, Show or Coupon Tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

Most of the other tour products and services has cancellation policy with free cancellation up to 5 days prior to service date. Please always check the cancellation policy of individual service during the reservation for exact cancellation policy.
Refunds

Refunds will be processed in the currency charged. However, if you do not reside in the country that supports the charged currency, you must allow for any currency exchange fluctuation which may occur.

Tripedia.com cannot be held responsible for changes in currency exchange rates.

Please allow 7 or 15 business days for the refund to reflect on your credit card statement.

Kindly note that the refunds will be processed by banks. Tripedia.com cannot be held responsible for this process.
Complaints

If the service supplier cannot provide the service booked, you accept that the supplier is responsible for finding you alternate service of a similar standard. Where we have prior notice, we will contact you by e-mail.

A booking is considered to be a group booking when there will be 10 or more pax traveling. Tripedia.com reserve the right to cancel any FIT booking made for a group or if we consider them to have been made for the purpose of holding space for future sale. Please submit your group request using the Tripedia.com group page. Any booking that is considered a group that the applicable rates and terms & conditions will be applied.

Tripedia.com accepts no liability for any losses or extra costs that might occur during the use of service.

Any complaint which cannot be resolved during the service use must be notified in writing to Tripedia.com within 3 days of the service date. A copy of the complaint must be also submitted to the service provider if possible.
Map Information

Maps are provided for information purposes only.

While Tripedia.com strives to present map information as accurately as possible, we do not accept any responsibility for the accuracy of this information or for any errors and/or omissions.
General

The Tripedia.com website is for legitimate bookings only. Anyone found to have used a credit card of which they have no authorised use, will be liable to prosecution.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking that is deemed not to be legitimate.

When you contact us, we will reply to your query within 3 days.

Depending upon the nature of your query please allow up to 10 working days especially in the case of past booking queries for the situation to be looked into and concluded.

Tripedia.com may send news & specified relevant offers based on your preferences and browsing session, to the e-mail address provided in your booking or your subscription to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any given moment, by simply clicking on a link in the e-mail which you receive.
Invoice

Tripedia.com will provide you with an invoice which can be printed from the website after the service date by logging into the Agency account under "My Bookings".
Service Reviews and Copyrights

The Service Reviews are collected via our website, social media platforms, newsletters, apps, other channels and/or via our partners' platforms. The reviews are the subjective opinions of individual travelers and not of ours or our partners.

We reserve the right to adjust, refuse or remove reviews at our sole discretion. The traveler review form should be regarded as a survey and does not include any offers, invitations or incentives whatsoever.

Tripedia.com is not liable for any pictures, images, content shared at our social platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, Foursquare and Instagram by our followers. Tripedia.com has no obligation to screen and monitor these interactive areas.

Tripedia.com retrieves destination pictures retrieved from Pinterest, Foursquare, Instagram and other social media websites shared by users. These are posts of individuals about their travel experience in that area. We accept no responsibility and assume no liability for any content posted, stored or uploaded by users or any third party via these social media platforms.

Tripedia.com retains ownership of all rights of the design, Tripedia.com logo, software used to make our services available at our website and/or mobile applications and content at our website. You are not entitled to use, publish, copy, scrape, integrate and promote the content (including translations) without our written consent.

Ranking

The default setting of the ranking of services on our website is 'Recommended'.

For your convenience, we also offer other ways to sort/rank service such as 'Alphabetical Service Name', 'Service Rating', 'Price'.
